Let there be light!

The counter is finished, and the electrician came early this morning to connect up the lights.

New mesh panels to display all the packaged beads including the new Size 15 Delica Beads from Miyuki & the long white bench will be transformed into our fabulous Rainbow Bead Bar - filled with loose beads in every colour you could wish for!

The beads have gone for a mini-holiday, over to the warehouse at St Erth, the old shop fittings have taken a trip to the skip and the painting has been done!

The G J Beads store opened in St Ives in Easter 1997. We have met so many wonderful customers and converted so many of you to dedicated beaders! The store is looking tired and in need of a make over.

The St Ives store will be closed for a few weeks in January 2009 for it's make-over. When it is re-opened we will have lots of wonderful new beady treats and goodies to tempt you with.
